Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

"Why is she out ****ing those other guys instead of ****ing me?"

Story of your life, eh? Must be frustrating. Certainly explains the tone of your posts lately.

Must also frost your blueberries that if still alive today, Walshy would be a dyed-in-the-wool Trump guy.

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

Uh-oh ... someone's in trouble now. Big Brother has weighed in, no more mingling with the rabble ...

So stop engaging with it.

These people are:

1. rock stupid

2. incapable of assimilating any information inconsistent with the their ideology

3. not debating in good faith

They're the product of a two-generation campaign of relentless brainwashing in the Echo Chamber. You might as well argue with furniture.

"Echo Chamber" hahahahaha … oh, the irony. They've got 95% of media/academia/entertainment on lockdown, and yet they're whining about the remaining 5% who aren't with their program. As if those of us who see things a little differently don't have to wade through the 95% on the other side every frickin' day. And only a few posts after the <s>serial lurker</s> new guy got his lunch handed to him for not knowing what HRC actually said in her deplorables rant.

Back to your safe spaces, begone …

They have/had a lot in common, you gotta admit. Way more in common than with Biden or Bernie.

I didn’t know that.

Did Walsh **** porn stars bareback while his wife was home with the new baby? Or did he defraud his charity? Run a dozen business into the ground (not limited to casinos, mail order steaks, and airlines)?

You make those things the tiny-fingered FakeGod does sound bad. But whatabout the time Obama wore a bike helmet, you think we’ll ever forget? Or whatabout when Hillary hid a server somewhere in the Ukraine or something? These are the real issues.

They're the product of a two-generation campaign of relentless stimulus-response-reward on the feeder bar of the Echo Chamber. You might as well argue with furniture.

These are the kids we left behind on the last day of high school and then went off to college and promptly forgot. They moldered away with their glory days memories and their fecund and increasingly fat spouses, becoming more bitter and paranoid, until the Tangerine Tyrant gave them a voice and told them that even slime can get to the top if it is vicious enough. You are arguing with the kid who became a bouncer or a wrestling coach or a day trader. These are the dummies who, if you met them in person, after a few minutes you would just turn on your heels and walk away without a word.

So why let them live in your head here? They are inconsequential. The only time they even touch human existence is when a human notices them. That's why they badger and troll like an insecure kid brother. You give them breath by arguing with them.

If you ignore them, they return to their pathetic invisibility. Banish them to the living hell of their failed lives, sans wisdom, sans happiness, sans dignity, sans everything.

Weren't we just talking about Hilary's Deplorable speech? You just confirmed that you were one of the writers as this appears to be the initial draft before she fine tuned it into her final , well received speech. Thanks for sharing - I will think of it as I drive south to banishment at my beach house, versus going north to the pathetic invisibility of my lake house.

Happy Easter!

What truly is crazy is to think the Dems are competent enough to operate a deep state. The only time they win is with a charismatic star on the top of the ticket. While their intentions are typically better for most, they are always way behind the R's politically. It's playing out that way on Facebook again. I still can't believe they didn't realize they were being played like fiddles on the last bill. The next bill better be simple. Just give a trillion to the Dems, and a trillion to Trump and make them report how they are going to spend it.

Chuck,Chuck, Chuck.... I'm very disappointed in you. I admit that I was wrong about the Hillary comment and now you're claiming I got "my lunch handed to me?". That's very interesting. Funny, there were at least three other very specific points that I raised in the post you're referencing and yet, not a single word in response to any of those so that everyone here can judge where you stand on any of them or, if you happen to disagree -- which, I assume is the case -- why it is that you disagree so we can judge if your rationale has any merit to it. That doesn't include the three or four other points you haven't responded to from much earlier in the week.

Obviously, I actually watched the video where Hillary made her "deplorables" comment. Why? Because I'm not a completely close minded, comfortable in my Fox News Fog, Trump is God conservative, who absolutely refuses to listen to or watch ANYTHING that might, just might, challenge the right-wing conservative programming I've been literally brain washed with. I actually accept the reality that I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING.... and, am truly willing to at least listen to other points of view and perspectives. I simply believe in always trying to become a more complete human being. I've always felt that the moment I think I know it all, it's time to call it a life.

So again I'll ask, did you review the NASA website regarding climate change I linked? If not, why not Chuck? Do you really think you know everything about Climate Change? Honestly, what are you afraid of? Same thing with the NOVA special; did you even watch 15 minutes?

What about your ripping the accuracy of some of the various models of potential infection and death when they changed a couple of days ago? I provided a link to "The Scientist" magazine that clearly explains why it's much more challenging for the modelers to get it right versus other types of predictive models . Have you read any of it? Again, if not, why not?

Or, what about the question I asked in regards to what does China likely lying about their Covid numbers have to do with the Idiot-in-Chief’s horrible response to this crisis, especially considering he was first briefed on it on Jan. 3rd? Afraid that deep down inside you know you can’t really defend him?

How about my point regarding the fact that the right will do everything in its power to protect “the clump of cells” prior to birth but, once born, conservatives refuse to support funding for the various programs that would increase that child’s chances of having a successful life AND, my related point regarding how we could easily pay for those programs (along with a list of other legislation to improve the country) by simply raising the effective tax rates (including capital gains) on the top 1% and corporations to 50% , to possibly include an extra “wealth tax” on billionaires, as well as removing the vast majority of loop holes from the tax laws. Again, no response. Are you honestly saying you don’t have an opinion?

Finally, since you claimed I had my lunch handed to me, I’m now going to ask again; since that “unborn clump of cells” is sacred and should be treated no differently than a new born, shouldn’t the pregnant mother be able to receive the $500 Covid stimulus? C’mon Chuck, are you really that afraid to discuss/debate the nuances of these topics. Are you that arrogant that you think you can’t possibly learn anything new about these topics/issues? If so, that’s really too bad. Trust me, I used to consider himself a center-right person politically but, because I’ve always tried to keep an open mind, I was finally able to “see the light”. It’s really sad that you seem unwilling to even try. :(

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

People who are still Republicans are always comparing Dump to Christ, bragging about how he donates so much in salary and other good works that show his holiness (ignoring the rampant corruption that has allowed him to funnel around 6,000 years worth of presidential salary into his casinos and golf resorts). It’s easy to see how holy he is when we look to the Bible:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John15:13)
“I take no responsibility at all.” (“The” Donald J. Dump, US President)

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

The dirty little secret is that Hillary was right. Although she was talking about less than a quarter of the electorate. 27% of the registered voters voted for Trump. Half of that is 13.5%. Not 25%.

When was the last time you heard a Dem utter these still-compelling words (and mean it)?

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nWu4K9CjIF8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

New version, updated to reflect the modern-day Democrat Party:

Ask not what you can do for your country
Demand that your country do more for you
You name it, anything, we'll give it to you
We only ask for your vote in return

It must hurt Dems when they realize that if JFK was alive today, he'd be a mainstream Republican. :)

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

So have the 1% decided what *they* are going to do for the country that clearly blessed them with ample opportunity?

Oh, that’s right - they already offshored their profits in tax shelters, and they did it for all of us....

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

As opposed to Trump's version: "Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what you can do for me!"

And LOL at thinking JFK would be a Republican. That's a special kind of stupid.

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

Or Trump’s second version, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what your country can do for me, my family, and my business partners!”

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

The dirty little secret is that Hillary was right. Although she was talking about less than a quarter of the electorate. 27% of the registered voters voted for Trump. Half of that is 13.5%. Not 25%.

You realize, of course, 100% of unregistered voters voted for HRC, right?

Some two, three ... ten times apiece, even. It's how you guys roll. Vote early, vote often, etc.

BTW - I'm not letting you off the hook for your suspect math skills ... HRC got 48% of the popular vote, Trump got 46%, and the Greens and Libertarians soaking up most of the other 6%. So, technically "half" of Trump's voters would be 23%. Of course, Ms. Congeniality didn't bother to explain which "half" of Trump's support she was condemning, so she doesn't get the benefit of the doubt on taking one 50% discount - much less the consecutive 50% discounts you advocate.

Dems Own Math. You must have been one of the folks counting votes in the Iowa caucuses??

Re: COVID-19 - Part 2

And LOL at thinking JFK would be a Republican. That's a special kind of stupid.

You heard what the man said. His words on the video - not mine. Other points in this Quora item:

https://www.quora.com/Would-JFK-be-a-republican-if-he-were-alive-today

Keep laughing snowflake. Parties have evolved, and JFK's policies are in the GOP sweet-spot now.

LBJ was the President who dragged the Dems towards where you stand these days. Not JFK.

Unless you're a total dupe, or haven't studied basic US history, this wouldn't be a shock to you.

No worries, Big Brother the Thought Leader will be calling you back home soon, just like rufus, etc.

Wow. A completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theory, presented in a verifiably incorrect statement (Republicans have in fact been found guilty of voter fraud) followed by a complete inability to actually understand what I said. Impressive.

I said "registered voters", not "all people who voted". They don't describe the same thing. One is a subset of the other. I'll let you try to figure it out from there.
