Given the lack of testing throughout the country, the odds of people dying that have not been diagnosed is very real. Or worse, willingly not diagnosed.

And instead of briefing from experts, we're getting talks from MyPillow guy. Surprised Kid Rock and Tiger Woods haven't been brought in to talk about it yet.

The Daily Beast and Mother Jones have always been sites for left-wing cranks to get their daily dose of emotionally-charged articles. Just because a story is generally true doesn't mean those two sources aren't exaggerating some elements of it.

To be fair, neither of them are as bad as rags like The Palmer Report, Jezebel, or Wonkette.

Daily Beast is a clicks rag.

Mother Jones is a legitimate source. It's fairly left (it would be center-left in a European social democracy) but radicalism does not equal crank.

Beware Centrism Privilege, where one thinks the closer to the center something is the more legitimate it is. That's not true at all. The center is just another perspective. Truth values are determined case by case. For example, the average between Nazism and anti-Nazism is not the most legitimate perspective.

I've never heard of the Palmer Report. I'll check it out.

Jezebel is fine, it just has an agenda. The people who swallow it whole are bad but the people it makes uncomfortable are worse. Of course since The Exodus I won't support it anyway.

Wonkette is disappointing! It started out as a very funny inside baseball site about the beltway but it was "discovered" by people who don't understand the DC cast of characters and it was dumbed down to suit them. Now it's just another snarky gossip site, and since the (cute) creator quit it's not even clever anymore.

The point is quoting something prima facie inane does nobody any favors. We all know your point, you've made it a trillion times. This is just whining, not informing.

It's like covering Dump's statements. People shouldn't even do it anymore -- it's always the same, it adds nothing, and it's like taking a million HD close ups of a puddle of warm p-ss.
