I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Arizona beach "picture" may have been intended to be satirical in nature.

Isn't that the wave pool at Mandalay Bay?

I mean, I assumed it was a joke because it doesn't even look convincing. I'm just not sure I understand the joke...

Yeah... it's probably not exact, but this is great.

“ JUST IN: The Minnesota State Fair remains on track to open Aug. 27 as usual, and it will be all or nothing, general manager says.”

And that sound you hear...is the coming crash of Gilead stock.

And the Arizona picture is cute...but it is just the type of stuff the Faux crowd will use as proof that the Left is trying to make this worse than it is. Their crowd doesnt get irony and humor.

Like I said...there is no way Walz can cancel it yet. If our numbers arent declining in a month the Fair will shut itself down (after he tells them they have to) so they can save face.

The stories I have heard about the way The Fair throws its weight around are pretty crazy. Having worked there twice I saw a minuscule part of it and even that was eye opening. The amount of money that runs through that place even before it opens is crazy. The price to even get a booth (leaving aside the wait list) is crazy expensive considering the time it will be opened.

The Fair can, and does, bully pretty much anyone they want to. They do it to the U of M all the time and the City of Minneapolis and Saint Paul never cross them. They have power and an ego that are Trumpian Levels sometimes.

This is a dumb thing to announce.

Not really, when he "changes his mind" in a month he will look like he is doing all of this "for the good of his workers and customers" and be a hero. OR he is putting the onus on Walz to shut him down making Walz look bad and him look like a hero.

Yes, it is. I don't really care of it makes sense for this one person. It's stupid and reckless.

Also, I'm betting on the latter.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...sh-came-after-talk-donor-source-says-n1190771

WASHINGTON — A top Health and Human Services official who said he was transferred from his post for pushing back on “efforts to fund potentially dangerous drugs promoted by those with political connections” felt pressured to rush access to chloroquine treatments for coronavirus after President Donald Trump had a conversation about it with a mega-rich donor, a source close to the doctor told NBC News.

Dr. Rick Bright said he was instructed to implement a national program aimed at expanding access to the drug without proper controls in place and despite the lack of peer-reviewed clinical data on the drug's effectiveness following a conversation Trump had with Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison, the source said.

Ellison sits on the White House economic recovery task force and is one of the president’s top supporters in the tech industry. The billionaire also hosted a big-money fundraiser for Trump at his home in Rancho Mirage, Calif., in February. The New York Times reported on April 6 that “Mr. Trump first expressed interest in hydroxychloroquine a few weeks ago, telling associates that Mr. Ellison, a billionaire and a founder of Oracle, had discussed it with him.”

I just read Insane Clown Posse cancelled the Gathering of the Juggalos this year.

ICP has more sense than most people.

Also, Atlanta plans to reopen now that they have a 28-3 lead on COVID-19.
