I can't find the article I read about this, but this summer there were a bunch of people claiming that Florida's gigantic Delta surge shouldn't have been happening if the vaccines were that effective, with regard to their average vaccination rate.

More info showed that a lot of their snowbird population would go there, get vaccinated (since demand was relatively low), then retreat to NY/NJ/MA/Hoth. So sure, they count as being a Florida resident and being vaccinated, but don't really mean anything to the issue at hand.


So again, I'd say that Florida is fucking up the numbers, but this time not actively.

That's all hopeful and all. But Florida specifically said that they would not accurately be reporting any COVID news. I hope you are more correct than not, but I do find it hard to believe that Florida went from one of the states with the worst death rates to one of the best.

Especially with deathsantis promoting some pre treatment that's not a vaccine. Last time he promoted anything, he was profiting on it.
 
So weird, the only reason the NorthEast was hit hard early on is because they were the first hit. After that no other areas had an excuse because we had discovered what it took to get things under control.

So I was told from the New found religious cult, Covidians.

Rhode Island, with 87% of the entire population at least partially vaccinated and 95% of everyone over 12 at least partially vaccinated has the highest case rate in the US and is nearing all time highs

I haven't looked at it, but the problem is with open borders, it's still going to wreak havoc a month later.

Everyone in the EU needs to take the same decision or it's just going to be waves.

Actually, this is not true. You decide if it is an emergency and if it is not deemed an emergency you can discharge from the ER and tell the person to follow up. When I was in Practice they did this all the time- book tests for the patient but when the pt showed up they required the pt pay ahead of the test. Most people couldn't afford so never followed thru.

Have a question I haven't seen addressed- what happens to all those people who had the monoclonal antibodies? They usually wear off in abt 90 days. You can't get a vax until after that. The immunity from previous disease is mostly not effective against the Omicron but I haven't seen if MA are still effective. Also as time goes on immunity wanes as you head toward the end of 90 days. Anyone have thoughts/seen anything addressing this?

800,000 Americans isn't enough? Is 1,000,000 enough? Deny all you want, but all of those people won't come back. Many of them who used to be productive members of society. Some were very much not, so not a big deal, I suppose.

The anti-vaxxor crap you keep trying to put up has made the US an embarrassment to us, and a laughing stock to the rest of the world. If Russia was still the Soviet Union, this would be a perfect thing to show how crappy ugly capitalists are- we let people die for the sake of a handful of people make billions. And it's not just make them die, people like you actually go out of your way to encourage it.

You are a mass murder. You've managed to murder the entire population of many states, already.

Good job. Hope it keeps you up at night thinking of whatever you can think of when you try to tell people to kill themselves.
