Holy crap, it's getting alarming- just saw that they more than doubled from yesterday. 12k-27k in one day. dumbsantis seems to think they are "breakthrough" cases, but I can't see many vaccinated people getting tested unless they are really sick. So most of those would be the unvaccinated.
How much longer until hospital resources are spent?
For me one thing that is a little scary is the thought that most people who are vaccinated don’t get tested when they are sick so god only knows how many infected people are out there. The person who sits in front of me at work ‘had a cold’ last week.
It seems like in Maine deaths are way up in the last couple of weeks. We’ve had a bunch of days with 4+ deaths which is a lot for a small state like us.

Looks like Southern Missouri is peaking. And wow look at that, their wave last summer peaked on the same exact day if this data continues in the upcoming week. Rhymes with Reasonality.
As the Southern part of the country's seasonality peaks in the next week or so I wonder what the new "Scariant" will be as seasonality begins in the north in a couple of months?

He literally won the US open last month and had his first child in May. Life is going pretty good for him ATM and I doubt he is very upset over missing the Olympics.
