It requires an act of Congress to postpone/move Election Day to anything other than the Tuesday after the first Monday* in November, so unless Nancy Pelosi’s real name all along was Nancy Hitler, I don’t see her and the Democratic House going for that.

They propaganda machine is efficient and stays right on message I saw the same BS about the hoax and falsified numbers in a fb post from someone originating in MA. I have no patience. I didn't even bother to post facts. Just told the dude I was pretty sure the 5 people we knew who died, the others who were hospitalized or got very sick would be glad to know they were a part of a hoax. Congratulated the dude for having the luxury of denial but we didn't get to ignore grief.
We have one f'd up culture where we think anyone who is in the 'service' industry, essential or can entertain you with sports is considered to be expendable

Yes. We put our military in deaths cross hairs happily, and then treat them like crap afterword. Other than the “thank you for your service” bs that does nothing.
how they don’t get lifetime healthcare is beyond me. Just like how nurses somehow don’t have healthcare....

Florida up to 400+ testing sites that amazingly only yield positive results. Yeah ok.
New York by the way has more deaths than CA, TX and FL combine. And I believe it has those three states doubled up. And it looks like NY is connected to just about every outbreak across the country.
but yes New York is some beacon of success.

I'm assuming this is in response to someone I have blocked (thank you for not quoting that person, by the way, it is appreciated). I think we all know that they will not believe ANYTHING that upsets their world view that this is either greatly overblown or a hoax. We certainly won't see anything change their belief that we need to do little or nothing and anything that inflicts the slightest possible "inconvenience" on them is unconstitutional.
never thought I would see this much of a snowflake, whiny response from the RWNJs when America was faced with an actual crisis. These people are shameful and should be embarrassed to be related to anyone who lived through the depression or World War 2. Those folks may not have liked the sacrifices they were expected (and in many cases required) to make and some certainly did not believe they were all necessary. But they made the sacrifice for the most part because they knew most people believed in them and wanted to give their fellow citizens the benefit of the doubt.
If we are around as a nation a hundred years from now many of the names of our current crop of politicians will go down in history the same as the likes of other people we hold in contempt now, like Benedict Arnold or Joe McCarthy. What won't have names but will be remembered too are the millions of Americans who let their fellow Americans down in the most traitorous ways. When the history books about the 21st century are written the chapters that talk of the 2020-2021 pandemic will hold you nameless Americans in such contempt your ancestors will spinning tales that are all lies about how THEIR families sacrificed for the greater good.
This same person clearly does not believe the direct source data from states like Florida- even when it's a conservative government, and they said they will be suppressing data. Even that data clearly shows the assumptions that things are getting better are all wrong- from positive rates to hospitalizations to deaths- all of the direct data that they are supplying is wrong because it does not support the narrative they want to say.
The only think people like that believe is any twitter posts that claim it's a hoax, some random person saying that they heard about someone that was falsifying tests, and somehow making the stretch that masks are dangerous. Other than that completely non factual set of thinking, they will not believe anything.
And for that, I totally encourage them to gather up and set up choirs, have loud rallies in small places, congregate in bars really closely with as many people as possible, and to host Covid hoax parties. Please. The sooner the better. And since this is all a hoax, there's no need to go to the hospital when you get sick, especially as all that does is add to fake numbers.
Just stay away from me.
