So, we knew the hydro was not a fix? Um, check yourself there. There was a brief moment where that was a possibility. And we do know ranges of half-lifes on surfaces. The mask thing has been dissected enough where it won't hurt, agreed, but it's not like that sweet etsy mask you bought is better than an N95. It may (MAY) not be effective at all. Too many variables in how you wear it, the material, if you decided to take it off for a few seconds then put it back on without sanitizing, etc.Oh dear God, you are really start to sound as bad as some of the MAGAs. We already knew about social distancing. We knew that in 1918. We know nothing more about masks now than 3 months ago. They help some, if worn right and by everyone, but as for the coronavirus we don't know enough yet about masking up. Do it, yes, because it can't hurt and can only help. Nothing new there. We have always known the elderly are more susceptible to complications from respiratory diseases. We actually don't know the life of a virus on any surface. Some guesses, yes, but 3 months ago we had guesses. We have no clue as to the actual fatality rate because we have zero clue as to how many people have actually been infected. As for what drugs are not working, this is ridiculous because there are 1000s of drugs and we already knew most were proscribed. The key is finding one that we know has some effectiveness, and we're not there. So I just blew your entire post out of the water. Delete yours and I'll delete mine so you won't look incredibly foolish.
Gotcha, I agree. Thank you for the info. They didn’t- they tested positive the next day
CA has banned all large gatherings. This church and it’s morons defied the order. People blatantly disobeyed and now are spreading it by going to a non essential service.
So they can burn.

I mentioned it on Twitter, this (for the older folks) is like the first cases of AIDS. We didn't know what hit us. We had no idea what the hell this virus really is. We're trying to do the best we can (well, let me clarify: most governors are).
The only similarity to HIV was the fact that there was a lot of misinformation about it going around, and the perception of invincibility by a large portion of the public.

Just gettin revved up folks

Some counties have kept the shut down (I heard Madison's county kept it). I'm worried about the MN border-hoppers.
I saw a dummy from high school tagged himself at some bar just across the border last night.
Shudder.

Well, it's spreading like crazy!!!!!!!! In certain spots. Particular spots.
Um, no kidding. It's also NOT spreading at all in certain spots. Particular spots.
So, overall, the spread, with the info we have, is slowing down. It's obviously still not good, but it's better than a month ago.
Get it?
Pretty sure we know some things. 3 months ago we knew nothing. That's the point that is trying to be made.
