Or utilize all of the medical resources before the rest of us get sick and now we’ve saved the ****ing idiots before we could save those of us who did our best to not get sick.

I think plenty of people are isolating though. I think as long as large numbers of people do, even if it is not universal (which would be impossible) it will have a dramatic effect on the spread. I think the biggest challenge is how long people in America are going to be willing to keep this up. We can all do a week or ten days. But what happens when it becomes two weeks? Or three? Will our famous appetite for going our own way trump any sense of protecting our neighbors? Because if this is something where we have to be in total lockdown for 2 or 3 months, I do not see that happening. Of course we are all worried about a real-life fascist authoritarian in the White House, but that is what it will take to keep people inside for months at a time, something like martial law.

reading thru and wondering regarding herd immunity. If we have all these people exposed and recovering will this be something that helps us when we start to slowly come out of hiding?

Seeing more and more people talk about the possibility of having been exposed previously and a lot of talk of wondering about a test to see if they have had it and recovered.

Wondering this myself. Both lilnsl and I felt off, not good with HA and mild symptoms of something a few weeks ago. Not horribly ill but not right. No way to tell.

**** them. Let them die. Most of them are in the old Confederacy and even if there is a hospital around they won't seek help. Let their last words be, "I'm dying to own the libs!"

Smaller "spikes" but also multiple ones as these shutdowns come and go (which they think they will). However, each new shutdown will be less restrictive, since once you get it, your body may be a little more immune to it. So, less infected, more freedom to move about.

Think of it as a chicken pox party. Get it over with, now we're good, and each cycle of shutdowns has less people at risk. Something to that effect.

Of course, this is still speculation, but at least it comes from verified scientists and such.

Or better yet, fine each and every one of them 1,000 each per violation.

The Vatican canceled Easter. You know how much stuff has to suck for the Pope to be like "you know what, this year Jesus stays dead".
