From a different message board:

"I watched an interview with a nurse in Italy yesterday and she was crying because her hospital simply doesn't have enough ventilators for all the sick."

And that's what we're heading towards. Wow. I'm just shell shocked right now.

I was actually looking forward to that movie after seeing a trailer even though it's normally not my type of movie and I never cared to see the animated version.

Disney should consider the bonanza under these circumstances of releasing it first on Disney+.

Disney will sit on it for now. The Mouse still needs that sweet Chinese box office. I would almost put money on them releasing the Black Widow movie on Disney+ though. Will be a great lead-in to the other Marvel shows kicking off this summer.

I posted the picture of them all earlier today

Oh, that was him? I thought it was a whole other guy. Things are happening so fast it is hard to keep up.

There is basically a 0.01% chance Sniffles hasn't contracted it. He's in the age range where this is 8-10% fatal.

Thoughts and prayers.

One of those times where it totally sucks to say I told you so.

What does one say to this? Will this be the first time in medical history that being part of a political party increases risk of morbidity and mortality?

Lots of movies getting delayed...more to come too.

And here come the hackers

“ The website for the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District was taken down during a cyberattack by hackers who asked for money to provide users access. The crash made it more difficult for the district — which serves over 200,00 people including students at the University of Illinois — to provide accurate information on the coronavirus outbreak.”

Anything big will be moved. Bond, Fast 9, Quiet Place II, Mulan. Smaller movies will stay in theaters and hope they can clean up on the moviegoers willing to risk it or who still think this is a hoax.

IL RNC must need cash.

There are better things for hackers to be doing right now. Might I suggest the websites at the White House, or Citibank, or Mobil?

Might I suggest the websites at ... Citibank, ... ?
Chase and Bank of America both emailed me to tell me that they really hope I continue to use their online access to make sure my payments are up to date and continue to pay on time, and that they'll make every effort to keep their branches open as well.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

The Minnesota State College system (my employers) just extended all spring breaks to two weeks! Now if I get stuck in Mexico I am even better off than before :D

My guess is we go completely online. The email basically tells us to make arrangements with the extra week.
