Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

Re: Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

The boys are getting killed on matchups, as in we don’t match up very well with their top group. Otherwise, they’re playing alright. They’re playing the way some of you have been advocating - physical and in Cornell faces. Need to keep plugging and working.

And here comes a goalie change....?

Re: Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

Shots: 36/29 Cornell
Shots on Goal: 22/17 Cornell

Very much on target. We are facing a faster and stronger team with a lot of talent deserving of the #2 ranking. Not sure why we put out a team tonight that would match up better with a little more size. If Burgess and Halbrauer are hurt i understand but I just have heard nothing. We are not playing a terrible game at all. it is just that this is a truly top tier team and we cannot afford any mistakes and we have made a couple.

This game is over in my opinion and has been since the 3rd goal. There was and still is no way we're scoring 3 on this team

Re: Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

Do you know if the women have a lot of injuries at the moment/ They have been playing a short lineup.

Not aware of the injury situation, but their best offensive player (Orosz) has not been in the lineup since the Christmas break.

Re: Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

I can't believe none of those went in. Also what a horrible missed call by the refs. Cornell player hooked an RPI player around the neck.... How do you miss that?

Re: Cornell@RPI 1/10/2020

Seems like we deserve one. Despite a lackluster start the Engineers have not disappointed tonight.

They have played fairly well after a lackluster beginning. I think they benefitted from the goalie change.
