Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

That sound you heard was me punching a wall. Colgate dominates the period, but gives up two goals in bad circumstances, and now trails by 2 going into the last period.

Yep. It's a miracle we're leading by 2 right now. 'Gate owned that period.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Cornell back on the PK. A legitimate cross-check, but McIntyre sells it extra nice. Now McIntyre decides to take his own penalty.

4x4.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Officials miss an obvious stick-hold against Brisebois' stick, then nail Poplawski for Hooking

Faceoff coming in the Colgate end, Schaffer takes the TimeOut

Cornell 4x3 PP for ~1:25

3-1 Cornell
18:18 3rd

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Cornell finally capitalizes on the pp...Gallagher blasts one home from the high slot.

Long replaces Evin in net now.

4-1 Cornell.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

It wasn't that soft. Backhands are tricky to judge and Nash just waited for him to go down. Bad positioning yes...but the shot itself was difficult to stop once he had commited down low.

If he's on the post where he needs to be, it isn't in. You see Scrivens giving that up? The shot was fine, credit to Nash for taking advantage.

Only 2 minutes too late. Now he wasn't ready and look what happens. Can't give a kid 8-9 games off, pass him up to start the period and expect him to still be ready. Bad coaching.

And that goal was ubersoft.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

This is where you put Garman in and give Scrivens a well-deserved breather. Not like he cant handle the last 12 minutes. 5 games in 9 days people.
