Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

greening rebound goal off a shot from d'agostino from the slot. Greening bad angle shot from just above goal line below face-off dot

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Greening also scored the only goal against Yale around the same time in the first, also on a rebound. Cornell getting to play more of their game so far tonight though. Looking good on the set-up PP right now

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Gallagher picks off a clear attempt in the slot and has a nice chance at the top corner but misses the cage. Then Evin makes a nice right pad stop to cover.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Colgate's Ethan Cox had a mini-breakaway, but Scrivens was up to the task. Cornell leads 1-0, End of the 1st.

Re: Cornell @ Colgate - 2/16

Tough period. Lots of hitting, physical play. Not thrilled with Cornell getting the early goal, but it was a good shot by Greening, and those things happen. It's only 1 goal, and the Raiders got some of their best chances later in the period. Got to avoid taking penalties and putting their PP on the ice. Evin has settled in well and made some big saves in the early going. Red dominating puck possession, not allowing Colgate to generate much opportunities on offense. I'm not worried. Yet.
