Mixed message on health issues for the Cornell Big Red. Back in the lineup are Brendan Smith, Brenden Locke, and Max Andreev.:) Still out are Alex Green and Matt Galajda.:(

Coach Schafer is out with illness. Ben Syer will be in charge tonight.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

Very freely flowing hockey with no stoppages in first 7 minutes. Strangest play: a Cornell player looked like a soccer defenseman passing back to the goalie. Luckily McGrath was up to the save.

0-0.

Smith! Cornell 2, Princeton 0. 19:28 1st. Assists to Nuttle and Bauld. Both Cornell goals coming from players who have been out for five games.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

The refs are really not calling anything. Half way through the game and still no penalties, despite several that could have been called. 11:12 2d.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

Puck trailing behind Ferland, but he reached back and stopped it just before it crossed the line. 13:20 2d. Cornell 2, Princeton 0.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

Stats after 2 periods:

Shots: 49/36 Cornell
Shots on Goal: 27/23 Cornell
Faceoffs: 16/10 Cornell
Blocked Shots: 16/6 Princeton
Power Plays: Both 0/0.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

Unfortunately, Cornell seems to be conforming to this season's form of having their best period in the 1st and deteriorating thereafter. :( 7:25 3d.

No sustained outbreaks from their defensive end.:(

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Princeton Tigers, 1/4/19

McCrea goal waved off on goaltender interference. 12:55 3d.

Much discussion. Finally a review. Lengthy review.

Finally a goal!

Cornell 3, Princeton 2.

Assists to Andreev & Mullin.
