Cornell Big Red @ North Dakota Fighting Hawks, Redux, 1/8/22

I missed about the first five minutes or so of the game, but from what I saw, Cornell playing much better tonight than last night. The Big Red really controlled the majority of the last half of the first. If that's an indicator for the rest of the game...uh oh.

North Dakota kills off the penalty...but not before Cornell had a real nice deflection right in front of the net that Hellsten just caught a piece...whew.

North Dakota is 5-0 after a regulation loss this season. They need to sharpen up quite a bit if they want to push that to 6-0.

17:36 left in the 2nd.

2-1 Cornell.

North Dakota with a couple of good shifts. Need to keep it up...and now a penalty coming up on Cornell.

North Dakota to the Powerplay!

15:00 left in the 2nd.

2-1 Cornell.

Frisch with a clean look from the slot, and fires it right into the Cornell goalie. That...won't...cut it.

North Dakota putting on some good pressure, but unable to find the tying goal thus far.

Cornell to the Powerplay.

Refs have sort of lost control of the game here. A few obvious penalties go uncalled, and then Gaber gets the hook for holding.

Big Red with a great chance to take complete control of this one...
