Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

Reese Wilcox out for this weekend, iffy for next weekend. Shout out to Joel Lowry, out for the season after his back surgery.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

Tim Lappin scores. Brown 1, Cornell 0.

Under review?

It's a goal.

Cornell defensive giveaway the cause of the goal.

Pryzbek eventually credited with the goal.

Wrap around off faceoff gives Brown a 2-0 lead. Another defensive breakdown.

Nick Lappin scored goal.

10:00 left in 1st.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

Pryzbek scores. Brown 3, Cornell 0. Gillam pulled. 6:22 left in 1st.

Hayden Stewart in goal for the Big Red.

Again no defense. Not sure it's really Gillam's fault.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

One possible problem for Cornell is the absolutely dead atmosphere in nearly empty Meehan Auditorium. Nothing to get them going. Of course, not really a valid excuse.

Did the Brown band show up? No excuse for students not to be there. No parking can't be the excuse for them. Cornell and Brown have had a great rivalry through the years.

This is pretty much to go-to when supposedly superior teams are losing at Meehan. You'd be surprised at how little of an effect atmosphere has on games.

Re: Cornell Big Red @ Brown Bears

If anything, Cornell's long bus ride is more of a valid excuse than Meehan NOT being loud and raucous.
