Re: Cornell at CC - Sat 01/07/2011

After Coach Shafer is incensed by a non-call, the continuation of the play results in a Cornell goal by Sean Collins with assists to McCarron and Ross. CC 2, Cornell 2.

Cornell announcers complaining about "home" reffing by the officials.

Re: Cornell at CC - Sat 01/07/2011

Complaints about reffing on the road??? Say it ain't so! :)

Coach Shafer complains on the road that other leagues get an advantage and at home, that ECAC teams get none. Without seeing it, I've learned not to weigh in. It is significant that the NCAA can give consideration in seeding for teams with "quality" wins on the road.

CC 2 Cornell 2 - end of two

CC 2 Cornell 2 - end of two

20-min hockey game coming up. SOG Cornell 15 CC 14. CC needs to play another third period like last night...but score a d@mn goal this time! Iles is tough. Local paper blog had post-game comments on video last night from Iles and Jillson. Sound like two classy guys.

Re: Cornell at CC - Sat 01/07/2011

CC goes on the PP, as Ferlin sits for interference.

Edit: Ferlin also hit with 10-min misconduct.
