The CNN world headquarters are in a huge building that is as much mall and tourist attraction as a place that houses a network. There is also apparently a police precinct in the building. Or maybe people are just finally getting their revenge on CNN for giving trump about eleventy billion dollars of free advertising during the 2016 campaign.

Car fires in DC at I & Connecticut, on the corner of Farragut Square and kitty corner from Lafayette Park. I've had dinner at restaurants on that corner and had picnic lunches in that park (which is kinda scraggy but the statue is great).

It's famously a tour group mustering point so one morning you'll walk by, all Asian. Next day, all black. Next day, all church ladies from Joplin, MO.

At lunchtime WH staff picnics there so it's great people watching because the WH always has the hottest interns in DC.

Not that I've seen. Just cars and trash cans.

The cops are f-cking lunatics; they're shooting pepper balls at bicyclists and cameramen. They're in panic mode and nothing is going on to warrant it.

Edit: now some people are trying to breach a building, which looks like a galleria on ground floor and then apartments (which are probably $8k/mo) above.
