Here's the problem with your "everybody who doesn't agree with me is obviously a sheeple" one-size-fits-all bit. It makes you look like the sheeple.

BTW, I did read it all, and it's nothing I couldn't get by osmosis from sleeping on a stack of old copies of Reason letters to the editor. I'm surprised they didn't recommend erecting a statue to Murray Rothbard. Or Jerry Pournelle. To the mindset with only a hammer...

Not to mention, if you're on the border, you aren't in the US yet, so there's no Constitutional guarantees. Every single "how to talk to authorities" leaflet mentions this, whether pravda or tin-foil. The point of this, though, is to show the deterring from said positions based upon said activity. It's probably just helping the domestic terrorists to win, though.

I did find it humorous that CNN was surprised that the protests weren't violent like Ferguson/Baltimore. Um, have they ever BEEN to Madison? The racial/economic makeup is just a LITTLE bit different. A tad. Barely noticeable. ;)

No doubt.

We have pockets of poverty (a block or two here and there) rather than square miles of it. The powder keg that can be set off in other cities simply doesn't exist here.

The numbers and concentration aren't here.

The area where he was shot is actually a very mixed neighborhood - both economically and racially.

Mixed, but not like those other cities.

I have NEVER felt unsafe in Madison. Even wearing Gophers stuff. ;) Seriously, though, I really haven't run across anywhere I would be worried.

They're trying to provoke the outcry seen in Ferguson and Baltimore. That's why Jade Helm is happening: so they can sweep in with martial law.
