I still don't get how this was (or would be?) revenge by the obamas. I think that hatchet was buried ages ago.

Various speculation over why Comey decided to re-open the investigation now:
-- Did Huma lie to the FBI and they found the emails to prove it?
-- Is there something coming out this week from Wikileaks that would conclusively disprove Comey's earlier statements? Do they need to get out in front of it, so the FBI is not exposed as a political pawn?
-- He is not actually "re-"opening the investigation about classified documents at all. Instead, they found enough evidence of a clear quid pro quo between a paid speech to Bill or a "donation" to the Clinton Foundation and actions Clinton took as Secretary of State, and the investigation is now about corruption: what they found is just too clearcut to be ignored; and the entire investigative staff gave him an ultimatum: re-open the investigation or each and every one of us will resign en masse in protest.



Now, will Huma this week tearfully announce her resignation? "Mrs. Clinton did nothing wrong, it was all me."

It is really fascinating to listen to various media outlets. I was in a more Trumpite state to begin with and caught only the soundbites- I thought they had announced something of substance and incontrovertible proof. Now I am home and see the actual notice- find out they announced they have no idea what they have yet. :shakes head slowly: A looooong trip to another place and transferring my funds to the Caribbean? too bad mr les works where they need ice

Les, where? The entire East Coast is bluer than blue. Maryland will go 60/40 D. Only the Eastern Shore and Western MD are red. The area around DC makes Paul Bunyon's ox look pale.

PA and NY both had crazy talk radio people who were drinking spiked Koolaid. Radio is the opportunity to be the cesspool of ignorance. All flame, no fact.

Ratings drive advertising. If flamefest radio had a rating of -125, and Big Band music had a rating of 500, we'd be listening to Benny Goodman and Glen Miller in the afternoon.

Btw, I think Kep has it right, one day the FBI will get the Weiner dog's cell phone/computer wrapped with a fish.

I ended up listening to Clive Cussler books on tape. At least that I know will have a resolution from all the conspiracies!

The Russians got to Carlos Danger through his sexting habit and coerced him into copying the Clinton server. Once he had it, they tipped the Feds to his naughtiness and pointed them to the laptop they already knew had the goods, because they made Carlos put it there in the first place. Classic Ruski manuever! :eek:

Vlad Putin is "former" KGB. (Like you can be former KGB ...)

Melania Trump is from the former Yugoslavia, the country with a love/hate relationship with the USSR, but still wrought with KGB agents and influences.

Ergo, Melania is Donald's KGB handler and the orders are coming from Vlad.

Next question.
