One of my more favorite ones- Appointing Devos to Education, presenting Alt facts is a way to stimulate resurgence of the media industry and decrease apathy towards education. :D It is all a plot

I've seen that theory advanced in some other quarters too, and not from some fringe element that sees conspiracies everywhere.

Apparently their thinking is that Assad would not dare to use chemical weapons with Trump in charge, fearing the retribution that would surely follow; and so someone else performed that attack as a way to draw the US into the situation.

Another theory is that a "rogue general" in the Syrian army ordered the gas attack on his own initiative.

However, I also have read that the US military has the capability to track the individual plane that dropped the gas canisters back to the airfield where it landed. Notably, only that one airfield was hit by the cruise missile strike, leaving five other airfields intact, and that Russia was warned ahead of time to make sure that none of their personnel would be harmed when the missiles landed.

He then called a presser to tell reporters that they suck.
