Because, naturally, UND is going to spend the better part of a year -- and hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars -- to come up with a new hood ornament and then promptly not put it on their flagship luxury sedan, right?

As I said Edsel, I can guarantee that the fighting hawk will never be seen on a NoDak uni.

I love everything about UND's game. Skilled puck-moving d-men who aren't afraid to join the rush. (Your #2 reminds me of the #2 who plays on West Madison.), quick forwards who can snipe, and an aggressive goalie who's calm when he needs to be, but pack an attitude. They were a joy to watch. Congrats.

There won't be a new UND hockey jersey until at least the 2017-18 season as UND has already ordered their jerseys for next season. Even if they hadn't, by the time a new logo is chosen, around mid-June I believe, it would be too late to order jerseys for the fall.
