Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

Re: Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

fun facts:

with 19 wins, bc is the first team since the 65-66 spartans who won a ncaa championship without reaching the 20 wins plateau!

Re: Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

fun facts:

bc's title is jrrrry york's 6th as head coach, tying him for most all time.

jrrrry also hold the record for most losses all time as a head coach (and for most ties).

Re: Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

Fun fact:

This bc team is the first beanpot school to win a ncaa championship after failing to win a beanpot in feb.

Re: Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

It's a Beanpot rematch anyway. Close enough if the plucky underdog Eagles miraculously find a way to win!!!

Wouldn't surprise me. According to the bracketology blog, NU already has a #1 seed locked up. Not only that, but since the other three #1 seeds are Western teams, they will be guaranteed to stay east (there's only one regional in the West anyway). So again, not a huge incentive (and I don't want to hear "but they really WANT it" - that's what they said about UMass too). Whatever NU's "incentive" is, BC's is about 100 times more.

Re: Congrats to Boston college on your 6th ncaa title 2018/19

I think you meant #2 seed for NU. Haven't checked to see how high they can finish.
