I don't think it was the WCHA's call. I think it was Lucia's. I think Mariucci, Brooks, and most of the Gopher fan base would've let SCSU have their moment in the sun.

Congrats to both teams.

So will the MacNaughton Cup be presented in St. Cloud in Friday night, and Mariucci Saturday night? Or the other way around? Hopefully next year the teams will have their banner ceremonies on different nights so both can have the cup in the building when the banner comes down.

Bingo. You guys (SCSU fans) honestly think Herb Brooks would have given any other team anything on a night he won the Cup? That's hilarious.

Oh no!!! The WCHA screwed up. Y'all should retaliate by taking your pucks and sticks and begging to join a new league. How awful of the WCHA! Mean ol' meanie Bruce.

I have a feeling that the Cup may have not seen St. Cloud until July at the earliest if Herb had it.

Your suggesting that the decision on where the MacNaughton Cup would be to night rested solely on the shoulders of Gopher Head Coach Don Lucia? You know that title 'tDon' is just a nickname right?
