Congratulations to SCSU and UMinn for winning the Mac. A very difficult banner to win, and it has to feel special this last year in the conference. A good race to the finish.

Yes it was nice to win the cup and have our pics taken with it tonight, before Jan has her way with it.

Indeed. When all the hockey boards blow up, you know it was a grand night to be a hockey fan.

So how do you want to share this thing next year? I'm thinking the Gophers take it Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and every other Sunday.

ps to the guy who is upset with the share, that no tie breaker rule has been that way for years.

Not upset with a share. Upset that our guys didn't get to celebrate with the trophy while Bruce played keep away with us.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was at the X tonight so I have to try and see if momma DVR'd the game for me. That is pretty lame.

Also, if they have multiples, why wasn't one in Madison?

Anyways, wanted SCSU to win it outright, but the Gophers have a great team and it is certainly no shame in sharing it with them.

SCSU fans are upset for legitimate reason. It is great to grab a share of the cup. All are thrilled with that. However, I cannot understand how SCSU locked up a share of the cup last night and was the only team to have a shot at winning the cup outright this evening, and yet the cup travels to Bemidji over Madison.... That is the issue. If SCSU had tied or won tonight, to not have the cup present is quite bush league.

This is on the WCHA.

Congrats to the Gophers. They earned their share. Dangerous team.

Can't argue with that. WCHA blew it. Huskies should have had the opportunity to celebrate with the Cup. They deserved it and they earned it. Since the WCHA screwed you, let me just say congratulations on your great accomplishment this year. WCHA champions is something to respect. Great job!

And congrats to you guys as well. It's unfortunate that the celebration isn't equal...thanks to the WCHA.

I'm guessing the WCHA officials were worried how the MacNaughton would respond to wisconsin air as it doesn't spend much time in the state.
