Oh my. Nelson all by himself and he shoots it right at Howe...nice positioning by Howe on the play giving Nelson nothing to shoot at.

Puck gets deflected out of play...11:47 left in the 3rd...6-6.

North Dakota has definitely had the better of play here in the third, but Howe has come up big a few different times to keep the game tied.

Howe holds onto the puck after it deflected off his own player.

The Kristo-Nelson-Knight line has been dominant in the third (and really the whole game) so far. Kristo has forced probably a half dozen turnovers this game, and has converted a couple of them into goals.

Unfortunate bounce for CC, as Kristo's shot was going wide and it hit a CC d-man and came right to Brock Nelson who roofed it for the easy powerplay goal.

CC had Eidsness beat, and the puck was sitting in the crease, but the Sioux were able to clear it...

just over six minutes left in the third
