A sweep of the goophers would be nice. Even if they are bad this year. Losing Rylan Schwartz for the first game will be interesting to see how the Tigers adjust.

Don Adam...

If you looked up the definition of "Fail" you would find Don Adam's picture next to it. I think the man has never officiated a decent game. He misses SO much on both sides of the ice. I think the DQ given to R. Schwartz was overkill. Knee on knee hit yes... 5 minute power play, probably... a DQ was over the top.

The Mavericks looked like a solid club this weekend. The parity in the WCHA this season is alive and well with Minesota State and M-Tech looking a lot better this season. Hopefully the Mavericks will continue to steal points from the "traditional" top teams of the WCHA.

It was good to see Joe Howe have a decent game again tonight. I know that last night most of his family was in the crowd watching him... I hope they got a chance to see him get another shutout tonight!

Agreed. 5 minute penalty was correct but DQ was not necessary
