There's another one.

Al Golden may spend the evening wandering around Ciudad Juarez.

Is this the 1st bowl game of the season that was actually sold out? Ive seen a lot of empty seats in other games I watched.

Don't look now, but the Big East is 3-1 in bowls. Surprisingly, the "best" team in the conference was the only loser. I realize that none of these bowls were major bowls, but for a league that has been bashed it's still pretty good.

Boise St.-Utah was a sellout in Vegas, with around 43,000 fans. UT-UNC last night was as well, with the game being played in Nashville and all. Other than that, I don't think so.

If Rees doesn't learn to lead guys he's going to get one of his receivers killed.

Every offensive coach in the state of Georgia should probably be fired. That's 6 points for Georgia and 7 for Georgia Tech. And 0-2 for the SEC.

Jeebus... Pitt's NEW head coach arrested for deomestic violence...

From the Pitt Trib:

"This was a rough year, on and off the field, and that's not indicative of this university," Pitt athletic director Steve Pederson said when introducing Haywood as coach. "We want to win championships, but we're not a win-at-all-costs program, and it's not a program that's going to tolerate poor player behavior.

"(Haywood is) a man of integrity, a man of character."

During that news conference, Haywood spoke of teaching his players to be "men of values, to be men of trust, to be men of integrity."

He said discipline would be "part of the culture" at Pitt.

To quote the great philosopher Emily Litella,

NEVER MIND!

0-3 now. According to Mark May that probably means the Big 10 and Pac 10 suck.

The NCAA needs to stop picking on the SEC!

Not a Big Ten fan by any imagination, but a sweep tomorrow would be hilarious.

Texas Tech 17, Northwestern 6 (0:16 1st)
Alabama 7, Michigan State 0 (2:12 1st)
Penn State 7, Florida 0 (5:29 1st)
Mississippi State 0, Michigan 0 (14:20 1st)

It'll get lost in the fumble, but I think that was a bogus offsides penalty to give UF the first-and-goal at the two. The center appeared to simulate the snap and the defense reacted to it. JoePa was so angry that he coughed a couple times while trying to locate an official.

When Gruden says PSU's interior offensive line is "like a law firm," what exactly is he saying?

Re: College Football IV: The Hand over Fist Cash Grab Time, or Bowl Season for short.

Ah, the three headed QB formation. God bless the 2010 Florida Gators.

Re: College Football IV: The Hand over Fist Cash Grab Time, or Bowl Season for short.

Alabama 14, Michigan State 0

Sparty being Sparty.

Re: College Football IV: The Hand over Fist Cash Grab Time, or Bowl Season for short.

Jesus, Penn State. All you have to do to beat this Florida team is not give them short fields because their offense is stupid. Stop sucking.
