College Football 2024

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz and assistant Jon Budmayr will be suspended one game for a violation related to the recruitment of transfer quarterback Cade Mcnamara, sources confirmed to ESPN.
 
Colorado did their best to lose last night. Got a first down off a DPI with 1:40 left and NDSU only had one timeout. Instead of running three times to leave them with 20 seconds at best, they chuck it deep for an incompletion on first down. NDSU ends up getting it back with 40 seconds left and comes up five yards short on a Hail Mary.

Gonna finish 4-8 again and somehow be deemed a huge success.

So my Vandals are on BTN again. Even though B1G members are not supposed to play D1AA teams. But it’s really weird that they are staying in the pacific time zone for the game in Corvallis. It’s going to take a few years to get used to this new Big Ten.

They rolled it back a couple years after making that announcement. Now you can have an FCS team if you only have four conference home games. Or if you have a team cancel without time for replacement of another FBS. So really it’s just a suggestion at this point.
