College Football 2018-19: We Want Mugs, Pugs, Thugs... AND METHODISTS on our team!

Re: College Football 2018-19: We Want Mugs, Pugs, Thugs... AND METHODISTS on our team

Washington's defensive coordinator on Leach's offense

“It does surprise me,” the North Central grad said when asked if he thought Leach would add a wrinkle to his Air Raid offense to counteract the stout Washington defense. “But knowing what I read about the head football coach here, he does things a little different way, so hopefully he remains here a long time. That would be awesome.”
Later he added that the Cougars’ game plan was “exactly the same” as in years past. The result was also the same, as Washington won for the sixth consecutive time over WSU – all by double digits – to punch a ticket to the Pac-12 title game.
“It makes it real easy for us,” Lake said. “Next year, maybe he’ll throw a little curveball. But it makes it very easy when you know what you’re going to get, so it’s awesome.”
“I mean, we know what type of offense we’re playing. They do the same thing, year in and year out. This is five years in a row now, and so it makes it real easy to game-plan.

The Michigan defense is supposed to be pretty good, isn't it?

Looks like they've found a neat way to fix this issue.

Another year, another Michigan player talking smack all week on a team down two scores in the first half.

Michigan your current streak against THE OSU is almost as pathetic as Minnesota's against Wisconsin. Especially when you consider all your recruiting advantages.

I didn't realize the Washington Generals wore maize and blue.

I'd compare it to Tennessee-Alabama, since the Vols won a title the year after Michigan's.

This is why you don't guarantee victory unless your name is Rasheed Wallace.

I kinda hope OSU scores again and goes for 2.

Indeed.

Higdon Guarantee? Worthless.

Scoring 62 Points Against The Number One Pass Defense In America? Priceless.

All Is Well.

Rutgers scored a TD, so unless we get some combination of safeties and field goals we've already lost.

LSU and A&M in 6OT.

Ended in the 7th at 74-72. A&M had failed the two point conversion that would have sent it to an 8th OT, but there was a DPI, followed by an unsportmanlike that moved the ball to the three-quarter yard line. Then A&M got a false start that moved it back to the six, which I think actually helped them because it opened up the passing game again. Looked like they were going to run it and the hole set up by the lineman who moved early would have been filled by a blitz immediately.

That was crazy. Game was 17-10 at halftime. 24-17 heading into the fourth quarter. 31-31 after regulation. Then 84 points were scored in the overtimes.

FCS power James Madison's coach Mike Houston is jumping to the FBS ranks ... to Charlotte.

Sure, it's ConfUSA, not FCS, but ... Charlotte? Yeesh.
At least Craig Bohl (NDSU) went to Wyoming.

Houston could've done better.
