Shocker of the week: Gameday in Madison this next week.

Yep, on par with Provo being extremely welcoming to those with alternative lifestyle choices.

Good. Can't let that town turn into some sort of party town with all the college students who should be studying and not watching a sporting event.

Apparently Jerry Kill is taking an indefinite leave of absence.

New Mexico fires Mike Locksley. 1-10 last two years, 0-4 this year, and a recruit got caught drunk driving last night, in Locksley's car.

In the SEC he'd get a raise. ;)

If he had back-to-back 1-10 seasons and started 0-4, there would be about a million For Sale signs in his front yard, and most of Mississippi Torch and Pitchfork would be protesting up and down his street.

Don't forget the assistant coach punching!

Or, indeed, the sexual harassment allegations.

Bold prediction: In 5 or 6 years, the Lobos will hire their greatest player, Brian Urlacher, to coach the team.

I think it would be more like 10 years. I would think you would want to have a few years as an assistant out there somewhere, just to see if he can coach.

"Oh, so that is not allowed? Ok, good to know...going forward I won't have any drunk recruits drive my car...we'll have them use one that the car dealer gives us. Or is there some kind of "rule" about that too???"

Lane Kiffin weeps upon discovering there is an NCAA rule he did not violate.

I hate to say it, but I think Minnesota is going to be looking for another football coach in the near future.

Just curious, did Minnesota fans embrace the hire?

Can't wait to see what Pat Forde has to say.
