My wife just asked "Why does Florida State get keep the Indian mascot? The drum major dressed as an Indian is just in bad taste."

Any help here?

They pay the Seminole tribe and give them free scholarships and such if they want to attend. CMU does the same with the Chippewas.

Waddya know. Minnesota only down 6-0 after 1 quarter. If they keep it under 3 TD's vs USC I'll be impressed.

If this strategy of letting MAC-level receivers drop TD passes continues all year, Michigan might not be terrible on defense.

Michigan's secondary is in deep trouble when conference play starts and pass interference gets called.

Oregon State showing some Pac-12 pride, down 14-3 to Sac. State at halftime.

And the less (or more) said about Notre Dame's first half, the better. 16-0 USF, and it should be more like 24-0.

Touchdown Jesus is not very happy with Notre Dame's performance. Notre Dame Stadium being evacuated. Lightning strike very close to the stadium.

The game here in AA has been stopped due to weather, too. Doesn't appear to be as bad as South Bend- at least for the next hour or so.

Funny, we are roughly a mile from the stadium, and while it's poured rain there, we still have got nothing. And I can see clear blue skies. Weather can be really odd.

It was sunny when they delayed the game.

There's a much bigger cell that's not quite to Coldwater. That's going to be here in 90 minutes, tops. South Bend's going to have weather problems the rest of the evening.

Odds are that also means Oklahoma State will go. Does the Pac-12 stop at 14 or make the move to 16?

What is wrong with the Gophers? They aren't nearly as embarrassing as I've come to expect. :confused:
