Yep, still here
Louisville kicking things off vs. Murray State, which frankly sounds more like a 1st round March Madness 4/13 matchup.

2nd favorite day of the year.

Let's go Racers, and just so you know that you heard it here first:

2010 MAC Champion Miami RedHawks - 28
Missouri Tigers- 23

I just realized: college luckless are still at the 30 after the NFL moves them to the 35. I don't know about you, but I find that to be funny.

Also funny: ESPN's shameless plugs for the Longhorn Network. Gag.

Heh.

My team starts off the new season with a great drive, and a TD over BG.

Great time of year.

Go ahead and laugh and mock the ACC and Big East, but Syracuse rallied from 15 down to beat Wake Forest when they could have laid down.

Commence snickering.

Well, I don't seem to have to worry that I'll miss a bowl game in Idaho. After getting that opening TD, my Vandals decided that they wanted to remember the Tom Cable years, and didn't know how to play either defense or offesne. They lose 32-15.

So either Idaho is taking a major set backards, or BG is taking one forwards- or I guess both.

Either way, nobody has a reason to pay attention to the MAC or WAC unless part of it.

Some of the games this weekend will be competitive, right?

Actual football; finally! It's always great to start a new season. I think.

But wait. I had this dream I attended 3 games at Ohio Stadium in 2010. In the happy illusion, the Buckeyes won them all. Now I awake to find that none of those games ever occurred. On the bright side, I can really use the ticket refund I've got coming. Still waiting on the check, however...

Will try again Saturday. But with apologies to the Moody Blues, I guess it's the NCAA that will ultimately decide which is right, and which is an illusion.

If one believes the hype, #3 v #4 should be a good one- Oregon vs LSU.

I'm praying that Georgia blows out the donks, in the only other ranked game.

Other than that- patsy city.

3 of Boise's players, 2 of them starters, staying home this weekend as the NCAA reviews their eligibility.

Somewhat proud of my fellow vandal fans. Took them up until about 5 min ago to find this. And it's just one person, one post. The rest of the 100's that started last night at kick off were more about how pathetic the football team looked, and it's getting close to the time to push the questioning past the assitant coaches, and onto the head coach and the AD. Some boosters have had enough.

We are all ready to jump off the cliff.

Re: College Football 2011: Enough of realignment and scandals. Gimme Footbaw!

Be careful what you wish for. WKU-Kentucky last night was pretty competitive. *shudder*

Remember, SEC teams have to beat tough conference teams like Kentucky and Vanderbilt two whole times, along with Citadel four times, to get all them bowl berths!

Hey, good news! More realignment from the Big 12-2. According to the president of Oklahoma there are "several" conferences interested in OU and he will decide where the Sooners will end up as soon as three days, but no more than three weeks. "No one in the Big 12 is more active than we are."

Speaking of the Big 12-2, Baylor and #14 TCU are playing a pretty decent game on ESPN.
