Another tough one. Even though it was careless, I don't think he meant to do that . . . but I don't think the ref has any choice but to show him the gate.

Armstrong will go off on a backboard. Definitely done for tonight, possibly the weekend. I'm not watching the video, but this reminds me of Allie Skelly.

He was off balance trying to corral the puck. It was a hard hit directly toward the boards, and he couldn't regain his balance. He fell face first. It's not like he was bent over against the boards and the guy pile drived him. But it was ugly.
