Colgate @ RPI - Sunday, March 6th - ECAC First Round

Re: Colgate @ RPI - Sunday, March 6th - ECAC First Round

Give me a break when it comes to the Ref's
Last two games they were on Gate's back (all the RPI complaining worked!)
now their at least calling it on both sides as a Game-3

Re: Colgate @ RPI - Sunday, March 6th - ECAC First Round

I think that I will delay starting an off-season thread until Tom Reale declares that we can't make the NCAA tourney.

You would be proud of me. I put together a spreadsheet that calculates the PWR based on results of the games. It's pretty epic. You need a win tonight, against your next opponent and you might need help after that. I haven't run all the scenarios for RPI, mainly focusing on the Gophers, but based on the current results and what I remember, that's the story... :(

Re: Colgate @ RPI - Sunday, March 6th - ECAC First Round

To be clear on the refs: I'm not contending that their calls or non-calls are necessarily biased. I'm pointing out that the totality of tonight's officiating (be it early whistles; an offsides call that seemed touched up; a dangerous, dangerous play that sent a player flying on which there was no call; what looked like grabbing of a neck with no call; several hits after the whistle that have escalated on several occasions; and blatant interference behind the play that hasn't been called once) has been very poor.

Can anyone hear another broadcast bleeding through on the audio feed? Maybe they are right next to the Colgate broadcasters.

Shh, the RPI guys are collectively holding their breath

Between periods they play the same piece.
During the second intermission they play the alma mater, because that's what's done in the Fieldhouse, too. They play a couple different versions. Is that what you're referring to?
