I like it. I think we have three strong lines now instead of two all-offense lines. Malchuk's shown he's ready to play up and now he gets the chance. In the past I've advocated lumping our skill players together, but now that we have so many of them (such that we can have two on each of three lines), I like spreading them out.

Colgate scores on the pp-we just cannot defend short handed and need to work on that. Now 1-1

End of the first period and Colgate leads 2-1 and it really should not be that close. Few RPI chances and the entire period seemed to be played in RPI ice.

Dunno if it's been posted yet as I'm posting from my phone, but the women shutout Union 2-0 in Schenectady this afternoon. Naslund and Harrison with RPI's goals, van der Bliek with the shutout. Tomorrow's game is at 12 noon back home at HFH.
