OK period. Scored first which is so important. Won more face offs than usual. But a lot of poor passing decisions at times. The game looked like a tie and deserved to be. Our power play is like driving a Yugo. Although not many shots got through it seemed like there were opportunities for both teams so doubtful this score will stay this low. We will probably need to score 3 to have a chance in this one and we just do not do that often enough.

Colgate not only survived, but came back in that period. I'll optimistically say they'll only get two in the dreaded second period.

RPI women trailing SLU 2-1 after one period, in large part due to some brutal officiating that gave SLU two 5 on 3s. On the go ahead goal for SLU, between the time that O'Brien had the puck covered in the crease and SLU forced it across the line you could have gone for popcorn and been back.
