Period ends with RPI up 3-0 which is great. But, we gave up far too much, we were out skated and very tired for much of the end of the period. And i counted 5 goal saving saves by Savory in the first 2 periods either on clean breakaways or dead on shots from just out of the crease. He has been perfect but you just cannot expect that to keep going on every chance. A blind pass back out of the zone at the end of our power play hit the man coming out of the box with no defender back. Someone needs to instruct our boys that when your goalie is tapping the ice with his stick, the power play is just about over and you do not throw the puck back blindly.
In any case - nice to have a 3 goal lead with a goalie in net that has not been scored upon in some time!!

Scoring summary posted on RPI-TV indicates the third goal was credited to Jerry, unassisted.

Hard for me to tell, even on replay, whether Jerry tipped the puck in or not. But if he did, DiGrande should most definitely get an assist.
