And we wonder why our league is looked down upon; do you see any other games gettinng cut because of "bandwidth constraints". I understand in the short run the league doesn't have any recourse, but you have to cut ties with a network who is unable to secure a broadcasting source with a major provider.

Expending some relational capital with the Mrs to watch Colgate hockey on TV for both weekend nights, but so worth it. Unlike last night where we were outplayed for a significant portion of the game, Colgate came out hard in period #1 tonight looking to draw first blood. Can they maintain the energy??

If only...
If only one of those chances in the first gets through, who knows? Once they fell behind though, then that was it, you can only push through on momentum for so long.
There's a reason why Union's name is going on the trophy for the third year in a row, and they deserve congratulations. But, this team went out, and had a couple chances to roll over and die this weekend, and they didn't. So, there is at least one more game to go, and for a team that was picked to finish ninth in the league, to go out, finish 2nd in the regular season, and make the championship game, there is no one out there who can reasonably say that this was not a successful season. There's a game to look forward to still, and a side that got a lot of experience for next year. Good ride, all things considered.

Let's all gather together now and pray for a bus ride to Worcester next Saturday. Loss is tough to swallow, but Union is simply a superior team. Superior to all most likely.
