Colgate at Cornell, Tuesday 11/24/09

Re: Colgate at Cornell, Tuesday 11/24/09

A sharp-angle shot gets whacked out of the air by Brisebois and it's another PPG for Colgate.

2-2

Re: Colgate at Cornell, Tuesday 11/24/09

A bad turnover behind Cornell's net is nearly converted by MacIntyre, but Scrivens deflects it away.

4-2 final at Lynah as Cornell takes it!

Colgate gave us a very tough game...looking forward to the next one at Starr.

Re: Colgate at Cornell, Tuesday 11/24/09

Evin played a whale of a game tonight for the Raiders. Special teams was the theme of the night, with each team scoring 2 power-play goals, but it was the Red that caught a break thanks to some untimely penalties by Colgate late in the 2nd and late in the 3rd that ultimately gave them the victory.

Re: Colgate at Cornell, Tuesday 11/24/09

Same story, Colgate just can't get the one goal they need in Lynah. Never really able to get a lot going offensively, lots of single shots and pucks partially blocked. Cornell with their usual defensive effort, they're just so tough to break in their own end. Very close right at the end, but no one able to get a stick on it for the tie

Good game Cornell, maybe next time...
