both games against Q-Pac I thought we would lost either 4-1 or 5-1...looks like I'm somewhat optimistic...didn't go to or listen to the game today...why bother? And won't go to Q-Pac on 1/4/19 (first time in many, many years)...cut my contribution to Silver Puck Council by 50% or 75% (depending on the year)...it's a sad situation over the past 12 1/2 years and even with (to Magoo's point, above) two appearances in the ECAC final, the systemic decline in the program continues. And I wonder if Jesse Winchester had not helped in recruiting the Spink twins early in the recruiting process to go to The Gate, would we have had a quality class of '16 at the school. Even that great class had a below .500 overall record at Colgate. And since the beginning of the 2006-07 season we have a win percentage of 44 (and dropping). Time has passed this program by and major changes are necessary...

end of year analysis...it's not that we're a substandard 4-10-2 that is the worst of the issues here...in 7 of our 10 losses we have been outscored 36-3; in essence we are not even remotely competitive in 70% of our losses...19 goals in 16 games is, frankly, mind boggling...the PP and penalty kill numbers are horrific...unfortunately, there's no #1 draft pick for being this bad...

At Syracuse Amtrak station now, headed to the Twin Cities, so will miss this weekend’s games at Quinnipiac and Princeton. Am hoping to catch Friday night’s game on the train, via ESPN+. Hope to catch a Minnesota Golden Gophers home game on Saturday. Go ‘Gate.

best they've played all year, by far...they wanted it more and deserved the win...MAYBE they can build on this...the 5 goals represents 20.8% of all pucks in the net all year...it's a start

WOW! It was like they played two separate games - one in the first period and one in the second and third periods! I couldn't be happier for the team! Two first goals of the season by Racine and Brooks! Here's hoping this will be a turning point in the season for our Raiders. Great game, guys!!!

Great win! Maybe turning the calendar to 2019 means changing fortunes for the Raiders? Neat to see the team rise to the occasion in the third period and knock the Bobcats back on their heels. Looked like a different team from what we've seen up to now. We really got after them in the third.
ESPN + has proven again to be a total disaster. Took me more than 15 minutes to tune in the game, so missed most of the 2nd period. Is anyone else having this trouble? I can't figure them out. I've paid my dues, have a log-in password, and still they won't connect me until I try 5 times.
If you didn't mind watching a game from long distance, last night was for you. The camera work was inadequate IMO, and it appeared that I was looking through vaseline most of the time from the nosebleed seats. Is it just me or do you find yourself wondering if you're getting your money's worth?
