No we're not. Princeton and Harvard went to OT, then Princeton took a HUGE gamble and pulled their goalie. And guess what? Princeton's gamble paid off. Thanks to those pesky tigers, we're headed to our own personal house of horrors ... APPLETON ARENA ... :mad:

Dartmouth based upon a better record vs. top 4 teams.

1. Headed to head 1-1
2. Wins: SLU - 9, Dartmouth - 9
3. Record vs. Top 4 teams: SLU 2-6, Dartmouth - 3-4-1

No problem ... I am not quite sure what to make of this match-up. We did manage a win and a tie this year against you guys and we do usually fair well at Appleton Arena against you as well. However, we all know how quickly Colgate can turn it around in the playoffs.

I have a question. We get 4.5 scholarships a year I believe...so...When Wagner left last year do we get to replace his scholarship thus 5.5 scholarships ?? Is it eighteen cumulative or just 4.5 allowed every year ??

The NCAA rule is 18 cumulative, so if someone leaves early it raises how many new ones you can give. I don't know if you have additional constraints from the Patriot League or your own admins.

I am surprised that you understood my post considering how many errors I made. I think that I have fixed it.

I hope that you guys win next weekend since I think the fact you dropped off the TUC cliff is what caused RPI to drop to #15 in the PWR. I will, however, await for WaP's post on the topic before I am sure.

We lost a forward recruit, he was talked about a while ago. Not a big loss but now only three forwards and three dmen and a goalie comin in. We need bodies badly.

yes, Fialkow...I don't know his deal, but noticed he was off Heisenberg's list the other day - probably a good thing. Bodies? Bodies? We don't need no stinkin' bodies...ah, yes we do...I'm afraid there are some out there who believe that by simply buidling a new facility (assuming completion) our program will suddenly ascend up the Pairwise rankings year-after-year...yes, we may be able to bring in some new talent, but if our structural programs continue I would be skeptical...a roster of 20 (or even 19) skaters is a path to permanent mediocrity...there are issues to be addressed...

Didn't Darcy Murphy come in quite late last year, sort of a last minute replacement for Wagner? If so, we need that to happen again.

Question: Robbie Bourdon was at 99 points going into the weekend. Would any points he gets in the playoffs count towrd his career totals, or no? Be nice to see him officially go over 100.

If Bourdon gets any points this weekend it WILL count in the school records...perhaps we can pick up a kid from the EJHL (it certainly won't be from the USHL)...

Yes. Darcy Murphy was signed on as a 2013 recruit, then arrived this fall when Wagner departed. Also, if Bourdon does get another point before the season ends, it will count towards his career totals and count as career point #100.
