Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach

Lebanon Valley College is seeking a part time Head Coach for its Men’s Ice Hockey program. Primary responsibilities include directing, organizing and administering all aspects of the ice hockey program including; organizing and developing practice plans and game strategies; scheduling and budgetary responsibilities; and travel arrangements. The Head Coach will actively recruit qualified student-athletes; attend contests; and meet with prospective student athletes on campus. The Head Coach should have excellent communication skills and excel at maintaining positive communication with both players, prospective players and assistants. Lebanon Valley College will compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and will be a fully funded athletic program. Primary responsibilities will be from October through February. Applicants should preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years coaching experience. I’m convinced, you are not Ty Cobb (the Original Georgia Peach), whose 271 career errors are the most commited by any American League outfielder (to go along with his career batting average of .367).

Well, that and the fact that our esteemed poster probably didn't beat the living hell out of a guy in a wheelchair 100 years ago, either.
