Coaching experiment at Princeton failing?

Re: Coaching experiment at Princeton failing?

Cornell associate head Ben Syer has applied for the head coach opening at Princeton. He's one of a handful of applicants getting interviewed......per Mike McMahon.

Princeton needs head hockey coach. Darren Yopyk/Keith Fisher/Anthony Noreen/Bill Riga/Joe Dumais in mix. Rumors even Scott Owens/Ron Rolston

The McMahon article only said Syer was being "carefully considered." Do we know he applied and was interviewed?

Re: Coaching experiment at Princeton failing?

My guess is Joe Dumais. Joe is extremely well thought of, knows the league and retiring AD Walters has a Union connection.

Re: Coaching experiment at Princeton failing?

I wouldn't mind Princeton continuing be to an easy 4 points, but I can't help but be bothered by the fact that the school with two of its players dubbing the NCAA player-of-the-year trophies--one of whom was the first American HHoFer--has its hockey programs going seemingly nowhere.

BREAKING: Princeton will announce today that it has hired Adrian head coach Ron Fogarty to be its next head coach.

Fogarty has a tremendous record at D3 Adrian. 145-20 record since 2007, when he started the program.

Quinnipiac keeps Riga and Union keeps Dumais. Both programs are probably happy about this.
