He was seriously worried about it. People forget about how seriously young kids take things they hear. This turned out to be a classroom aide that told the kids they were bear murderers, hopefully the regular teacher has some sense.
This year, I taught my son to catch and skin muskrats & beavers for fun & profit. :) Our fur check should be coming soon.

I don't blame you, they are mean.

catch and skin minks. make coats for the poor. and they are fairly nasty creatures too!

I'm going to Canada to murder some polar bears for fun and profit. I'm not even going to do it for fur or meat, I'm just going to kill them and leave them there to rot.
