Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

After shutting out Ylae 1-0 last night, are we playing Beige University tonite???

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

After going winless in our first seven games.... taking 3 league points on the road is as good as stealing  We have the Q and Prinny at home this weekend. LGT!!

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

After the embarrassing 5-2 loss to Qpac, we come out and storm Princeton 7-2 with 7 different goal scorers. Bad news is we lost Sexton and Marsh to injuries, not sure of the seriosness as of yet. Good news is we only have one game next weekend at RIT which could give these guys some time to heal. ECAC record is 2-1-1, not bad.

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Happy Thanksgiving! Well we are off to RIT tomorrow! For the RIT fans you can expect to see some shaky goaltending, some bad penalties and an anemic powerplay from Clarkson. What can we expect from RIT?

You can expect similar. Shaky defense, a few bad penalties, and an aversion to scoring goals in the 3rd period. I called this game a tie in the AHA Pick'em thread.

Well the effort was there, but missing 6 players due to injury was alot to overcome. Getting two shorthanded goals in the first was a bonus but giving up a two goal lead was a bummer. Lewis is not the answer in nets, nope. On to Cornell and Colgate.

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Well, Clarkson came out with alot more jump than SLU, and deserved the win 4-1. I am sure the effort will be different in Lake Placid. Shocked that we didn't get torched on the penalty kill tonight. Penalties have been very lopsided in against us, I used to think it was a Geo Roll thing....now not so certain.

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Congrats on a solid 4-1 victory over SLU - looks like Casey Jones is slowly turning the Knights program in the right direction - just as I thought he would!!!

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

I am sure the win at Appleton stirred up the hornets nest at SLU. At Lake Placid we must stay out of the box to win, chances of Flanagan and Carey going 0 fer, are slim and none.

LGT!

Hey Slim, Meet None. CCT 3 SLU 1, Carey and Flanagan 0 fer. :)

I'll tell ya what I'm about to post on our SLU site ain't pretty. Woe is the North Country. That was two pretty miserable looking teams last night. At least your boys found a way to look slightly less miserable. North Country ain't what it used to be. Collectively one of the most poorly played hockey games I have witnessed in years. Talk about the gang that couldn't shoot straight. Score should have been around 9-7 CCT if anyone could have learned how to put the puck in the net.

New coaches, new systems, new players. Relax, emotional two games things will get better.

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Ok, thread rescued from page 3.....Happy New Year to All ! Looks like Freshman TJ Moor has joined the team for the second semester and we start the new year against non conference UML. Clarkson is still a work in progress...you can expect some juicy rebounds, some moronic penalties and plenty of freshman mistakes ...other than that we are all set. What can we expect against UML?

LGT!!!!

Re: Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Just curious how many fans you're expecting this weekend. Also, it's been awhile, but Cheel is in the 'average' range for temperatures for hockey arenas, right?

Anything exciting happening with the team we should keep an eye out for?

For UML, we're definitely not living up to expectations. I would not be shocked if you saw our freshman goalie Hellybuck (sp?) in both games.

So, ummm, thanks for the insight and the four points. Gluck the rest of the way.
