Clarkson University 2012-2013 Season- The long road back....

Needed a thread to read some opinions other than the ones on the Roundtable.:D Well, we knew that it would take awhile for the goalie position to solidify itself, so in the first three games we give up over 5 goals a game. There will be some serious growing pains in the fall semester with 3 newbies in net and 7 additional freshman. Let's hope they are quick learners.

Houston; we have a problem. That just about sums it up. The best net minder in Potsdam may be on the womens team.

Cornwall Standard Freeholder reported over the weekend that F - Mitch Zion has left the team. Returned to Cornwall Colts, plans to transfer.

Had a tough time breaking the lineup, he was a tremendous skater but didn't seem to have the hands to match. Long and short of it he was not a Casey Jones guy. Too bad because he always wanted to play for Clarkson, I wish him luck in the future.

Still looking for that first win, as we host Niagara for two games this weekend. With the currernt goal situation I wouldn't even try to predict the results. Let's hope they figure it out quick!

In recruiting news, 2014 Troy Josephs was selected to participate in the WJAC Team Canada East and James de Haas and Anthony Paskaruk were selected for Team Canada West.

Brutal game, puck possession is horrible and 2 real stupid penalties by Sexton and Garlasco to negate power play opportunities....just inexcusable.

Well, at least the women have a good team beating NoDak in Grand Forks 3-1.

The men take on Canisius for two on the road Sat and Sun with 3:00 starts, still looking for their first wins of the year.....LGT!

Knights begin ECAC play on the road at Ylae and Brom this weekend. Looks like we will be getting Labrecque and Himelson back on defense, skating with five D at canisius.... the boys were pretty drained. Let's start this off right! LET'S GO TECH!

Nice win at Ylae, finally got the monkey off our back! 3 ties and a win we have a four game unbeaten streak! :rolleyes::) Let's see if we can get on a roll, that was the most disciplined game we have played in years!
