CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

Re: CHA Thoughts and Prognostications: Year 11, The Finale... Part Deux

I would trust the beavers a little more than i would trust the chargers to do the CHA proud in its final season. We are the better team and there is no question about that, im just saying i would trust them a little more, but i am still pulling hard for huntsville against the gayhawks..cough cough...i mean redhawks:D

1-2-2 in your last five.

Inspired confidence = zero.

umm 23-9-4 overall....must not be very good i guess

and your talking about going in hot how about huntsville 3-4-1 in their last 8 games not to mention they have not beaten BSU in their last 13 straight meetings....i guess i should put all my marbles into UAH

Can I do like I did that one time I went to a Beaver Pride meeting and pretend I like Bemidji for the food? :D
You know that you're a Fat Hockey fan when........ ;)

Okay, Beavers fans, who among y'all is coming to Fort Wayne? Do any of you have those third wheeled-B jerseys you want to part with? I'll bring some Huntsville beer in exchange. :)

An all-CHA regional final is like a dreamy gift from the pagan hockey gods.

Yeah, and watch the NCAA pass a cinderblock out of their collective rectums when they'll have sell the Cinderella Story for the Frozen Four. Then again, I'm sure none of you guys would really complain about the venue this year if a CHA team was to make it. You guys are used to playing in partially filled venues anyways. ;)

I won't be making it...Trying to arrange a viewing in the Twin Cities for it though....

Booo!!!!!! Get your bum down to Fort Wayne!!! :p

Looks like I will not be able to see the Bemidji State-Michigan game on Saturday. I just went to ESPN360 and my internet provider is not a carrier listed by them....... **** THEM ALL TO HELL!

But I will have Schultzie to listen to, so give it hell Schultzie!

Well, if you call in dead, then you wouldn't have to worry about getting time off from work for the Frozen Four. ;)

I find your theory intriguing, I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Hey 5-hole, I see Matt Francis has had a pretty good couple of weeks for you guys down there at Gwinnett. Good to see! ;)

Yup ... Frannie has picked up on how to play this game after spending some time with us down here. ;)

Another day, another USCHO article that can't deal with the fact that the CHA is a good league, so they throw their baby out with the bathwater: http://www.uscho.com/news/college-hockey/id,18506/AnalysisWhatValueExperience.html

How do you explain BSU and UAH? Well, BSU's experience is without question. UAH, though, has made the NCAA's twice in four years. Sure, neither team was that good in the regular season, but each had a nice upward arc at the end of the season going into the tournament.

That said, the premise of the formula is fundamentally flawed, because there's no regression analysis done whatsoever to see if there is any kind of correlation. Failing that, it became another flog-the-CHA deal.

:sigh: We should have been the Rodney Dangerfield Hockey Association.

Geof - That's nothing new to us... You know that. I just bite my lip and hope for the same type of result as we got in NY and Des Moines. That speaks volumes.

I've already got a car rented in Fort Wayne so I can make my banana runs... the team knows what I mean!!!

See you at the airport Thursday morning...
