Hey fellow CHA Slappies, if you haven't already please go to http://www.ncaa.com/frozenfourskillschallenge/index.html to vote for the CHA players for the Skills Competition to be held at Ford Ford as part of the Frozen Four.

On the ballot for the West team are WSU's Lindsey Park, Christine Jefferson, and Katrina Protopapas. From RMU, Jacki Gibson and Chelsea Walkland are on the list.

I'm not sure how the nomination goes for this, but I sadly do not see any players from Mercyhurst, Syracuse, or Niagara. :(

The only piece of which I'm sure is that the player has to be a senior. Mercyhurst and Syracuse only have about 4 seniors combined, but Niagara does have several. No idea how they arrive at who winds up on the ballot and the mix of D-I players versus D-III (or D-II.)

Just a guess, but would they possibly stay away from players from the Hurst since they might in in the Frozen four anyways......

No, the event is during the men's Frozen Four which takes place after the women's season has wrapped up.

Okay, so I just did the math....since OnMaa and Atlantic Puck have picked the same as me, it actually works out that if we all go 0 for 4, I leapfrog over them by 0.3%, HOWEVER if we all happen to go 4 for 4, they extend their lead over me by another 0.25% :mad:
