CCHA Pick ‘Em 2026-27 - Tommie Free Edition.

For the record, iowabasedtraveler thinks 10 is ‘close to 12,’ especially in light of the fact that no one else wisely picked double-digit scoring.

I don't know if anyone noticed but me but attendance at MSUM and at Bemidji this last weekend was not very good! pathetic really.
Saturday was High School Section Football playoffs in the State. It seems like in Bemidji, people support the local high schools over the college.

Doesn't explain Friday night, though.

ALERT! At the start of the season the two Maryville games between Lake Superior and one game with BG were listed as regular season OOC games and not exhibitions. That apparently has changed. As such, the two Maryville/Lake Superior games this week will not count in the Pick 'Em contest and the avg-time-of-GWG bonus will be thrown out, especially since there aren't box scores for either game. The individual at Pick 'Em HQ who made this mistake has been put on a PIP (you corporatistas will be familiar with this term) and their performance will be monitored over the balance of the season. Apologies to the field.

Congratulations are in order for Hockey John who won the week with a total of 18 out of a possible 22 points. That's pretty darn good! Stick Taps go to Berger21, Hockey John, and manurespreader who were the only three contestants to pick the Lakers to win over the Mavs on Friday. There is a swap atop the leaderboard with giwan currently planting his flag on the Pick 'Em mountaintop with last week's leader puckdude40 along with three other contestants now in second by only one point.

Michigan Tech won both games against Augustana by identical scores of 3-2 (including both S/O's) which means Draft Kings will pay out 3 bonus points to anyone who picked "Exactly" on the weekend. There were no contestants with the courage to pick "Exactly" for both games so here's a list of who got what on the weekend:

Footballguy51 still maintains a 2-point lead in the Race for the Sauer ahead of GoNanooks.

In the Battle for the Beagan manurespreader and Berger21 are tied for the lead with identical .720 points percentages. Can these two keep up this blistering pace?

Another week, another extra bonus! Picking Ferris State to win in Sioux Falls will be worth double points this week. That's 6 points for a Ferris State win, 4 points for an OT or S/O win, and 2 points for an OT or S/O loss.
