CONGRATULATIONS TO mbenecke WHO IS THE 2025-26 WINNER OF THE MASON CUP! iowabasedtraveler put up a strong fight but lost on the tiebreaker 6-6. What a playoff! For the first time in Pick 'Em history the #1 and #2 seeds went head-to-head with the winner being decided by a tiebreaker. Also, we'd be remiss if we didn't point out that mbenecke will need to make room on his trophy shelf as he's not only the Mason Cup winner but also the MacNaughton Cup and Bill Beagan Trophy winner. What a year for mbenecke!
For those playing at home in the losers bracket, here are the final results. A final round of stick taps goes out to Bronco Hockey Fan and SectionP for winning the week. Shout out to giwan who made things close at the end. No other congratulations will be offered.

As one would expect out of the top two seeds, you and mbenecke read the tea leaves the same way and posted the exact same picks: Mankato/2/3/0 so you should have felt good about your chances when you submitted the form. You picked well this year.
You thoroughly out-picked me in the postseason, but the tiebreaker saved me. If only that kind of luck extended to my Falcons on the ice this year!
